Privacy Policy

Version: September 2026

eSIM Israel is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, with whom we share it, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law.

This translation is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Data controller

The data controller is eSIM Israel, a private company under Israeli law, registration number 558540779, with registered office at Merkaz Sapir 6, 9546112 Jerusalem, Israel. For any question about your data: support@esim-israel.com — +972 55-508-55-55.

2. Data we collect

• Identification and contact: first and last name, email address, phone number, billing address, company where applicable. • Identity document (Teudat Zehut or passport number): required by Israeli telecommunications regulations to assign a number and to port an existing number. • Payment data: processed by our payment provider PayPlus; we never store your full card number, only a payment token and the last four digits. • Service data: assigned number, eSIM identifier (ICCID), plan, usage volumes, billing and support history. • Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and — only with your consent — analytics and advertising data.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Performance of the contract: account creation, eSIM activation, service delivery, billing, recurring payments, customer support. • Legal obligations: subscriber identification and number porting (Israeli telecommunications regulations), retention of invoices (accounting and tax obligations), responses to lawful requests from authorities. • Legitimate interest: site and account security, fraud and non-payment prevention, improvement of our offers, internal statistics. • Consent: analytics and advertising cookies, newsletters and commercial offers. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible only to authorised eSIM Israel staff and to the following providers, each for the stated purpose: • Our partner mobile network operator (Israel): eSIM activation, number assignment, porting, routing of communications. • PayPlus (Israel): payment processing, recurring payments, invoicing. • Brevo (European Union): transactional emails and, with your consent, newsletters. • Supabase: hosting of our database. • Vercel (United States): website hosting. • Google (Analytics, Ads), Meta (pixel) and Microsoft (Clarity): analytics and advertising, only after your cookie consent. We may also disclose data to competent authorities where required by law. We never sell your data.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

eSIM Israel is established in Israel. The European Commission recognises that Israel ensures an adequate level of personal data protection (adequacy decision 2011/61/EU, confirmed in 2024): your data may therefore be processed there with the same safeguards as within the Union. Some providers (Vercel, Google, Meta, Microsoft) are established in the United States; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention periods

• Account and contract data: for the duration of the relationship, then 5 years after it ends (limitation period). • Invoices and payment data: statutory accounting and tax retention period (up to 10 years). • Identity documents linked to a line: the period required by Israeli telecommunications regulations, then deletion. • Prospects and newsletter: 3 years after your last contact. • Technical logs and browsing data: 12 months at most; cookies: 13 months at most.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and the right to set directives regarding your data after death. To exercise them, write to support@esim-israel.com; we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your country — in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) — or with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted communications (HTTPS), strict access control, strengthened authentication for the customer area, logging, and processors bound by contractual confidentiality commitments. As no system is infallible, we would inform you without delay of any incident affecting your data.

9. Cookies and trackers

• Essential cookies (no consent required): session and login to the customer area, security, storage of your cookie choices (“eis_cookie_consent” cookie, 12 months). • Analytics (with consent): Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity — to understand how the site is used and improve it. • Advertising (with consent): Google Ads and the Meta pixel — to measure conversions and show relevant ads. These trackers are only loaded after you accept them in the banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer. Maximum lifetime: 13 months.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect legal or technical changes. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its date. In the event of a substantial change, we will inform you by email or on the site.
